We have a account configured under whm with url www.my-domain.com and running fine since last 1 month, however, we need to change the domain name to www.mydomain.net

Is it possible to just rename the URL my-domain.com to mydomain.net under account settings ? or we have to make some additional changes ?

From research i came accross this issues if I change the url under WHM
Quote:
- The old domain is not removed from the list of local domains.
- Other references to the old domain remain in some configuration files under /etc. Try grepping recursively from there for the old name.
- The subdirectory where mail accounts are stored (under /home/username/mail) is not renamed with the new domain name.
I have to make the changes asap to an existing domain without any glitches.
We have our forums configured on olddomain.com which needs to be configured on a newdomain.net
