Who says you cant teach an old dog new tricks.

Couple of things I discovered today on FFox 11

1) F3 opens up a search dialogue at the bottom of the screen to find specified text on the page. Very handy.

2) After cursing FFox for several minutes wondering why it doesnt respect min-width media queries, I found this:

Unlike Google Chrome, and most other browsers, Firefox allows it's toolbars to affect viewport size. The only way to make the viewport resize below the width of your toolbars in Firefox is to disable them. You'll need to go to View > Toolbars and uncheck each. Then try resizing and watch your media queries take effect.

F3 opens (or continues) a search in all browsers, when running on Windows. As it does in many other Windows applications such as Windows Explorer.

Is there an equivalent hot key on Macs?

Command+F (Ctrl+F on Windows)
