I am new here..hi ppl!
I need guidance on this..I tried to insert this into dreamweaver..and then they are not compaitable with this code..

body {
background-color:black;
scrollbar-3d-color:white ;
scrollbar-arrow-color:white ;
scrollbar-track-color:black ;
scrollbar-face-color:black ;
scrollabr-highlight-color:black ;
scrollbar-shadow-color : black ;
srollbar-darkshadow-color:black ;
scrollbar-3dlight-color: white
}

why is this happening?
I dont see the effect I wanted..any way where I can get fanciful scrollbars in dreamweaver?

Hello,

Welcome to the forum!

I dont use Dreamweaver so I'm not sure how much help I can be. I can tell you that as far as I know that code will only work in IE. What browser are you using?

I use Dream weaverMX and have no problem doing that?

I use IE explorer 6.0
I put the codes in and the red underlines came...errors becos they said some browsers werent compaitable with this code..but I m using latest eplorer 6.0 how can that be?

it's proprietory code that only works in IE (and 7+ version of the Opera browser IF it is specifically enabled). it isn't standards compliant code and is therefore underlined. as has been stated it will work in IE but not anything else.

users of non IE browsers will see just normal scrollbars.
