I download all kinds of templates but in dreamweaver none of the text is editable. Then I open the psd file and can edit it. Problem is, how do I link images and text in photoshop. Can you visit like an uploaded psd webpage like any other? How do I go about doing this?

You need to convert the psd file into gif/jpgs and slice them up and add in some html. Photoshop has tools to slice up images and build the html. However, what you bought was not a web site template. It was just a picture of a web site. You'll have to do quite a bit of work to make it usable.

It was actually free. The template comes with psd files and html file but the images in html are images so I cant change button text and stuff. Anyone I can do that in some program, what are my easistest options.

Ah right, so you have a spliced html version already. That maks it easier. Before you start, backup all your origonal files.

Find the gif or jpg file for the button that you wish to change. compair it to the psd file. Note the height and width of the button.

Make your edits to the psd file (remembering to backup first). Then flaten the file and crop down to just the area of your new button. Make sure that the croped area of the new button is the exact same size as the old one.

Save the croped image over the old button file.
