I had an idea of making a lyrics site and selling it on.

If I was to make a professional looking lyrics site, with a collection of about 300+ lyrics already inserted into the site would anyone be interested in buying it and for how much (I dont want to spend time creating it only 2 find nobody interested)

Also does anyone know of a good Content managment system that would be relevant to a lyrics site

As far as I know, most lyrics sites are in breach of copywrite. You have to get the song's author to give you permission to reproduce their lyrics. Without such permission you site would not be sellable but the time and cost in obtaining permission would probably make the project unprofitable.

You could however, produce a site full of out of copywrite songs. For example hyms. Without any problem at all.

Really?! Well thats something I didnt know...Does that mean that sites such as www.lyrics.com and the millions of other lyrics sites are breaking copywrite laws?
