What should the domain name of your portfolio be?

I'm about to buy a domain for my portfolio but im not sure if i should do my name as a domain, come up with a company sounding name?

what are some examples and what have you picked for your portfolio?

For my portfolio I chose a name that will compliment my skills. I purchased my name as a domain name as a resume portal which has all of my information, references, experience, skills and much more. What a plan NOT!!!!!!!!!!!

Just use YOUR NAME and BRAND it.

If you are only working for it then i think your name do the job. If you've a company then you should go for some brand name.

I think your name plus main keywords would be OK to be your domain name.

I believe your name should be more than enough. If it is taken, then add portfolio to the end of your name or something to distinguish it.

as some have already mentioned before

but mind you, my work in design is usually word of mouth and not seo targeted, my domain name is just my full first and last name.... if you have a good and easy to remember name that might be the option

If you are going to create your personalized website/blog I prefer to use your skills. While on the other hand if you are in a company I prefer to create a domain name that is exact name of the company or a domain name that is related to the company.
