I was thinking how does everyone check there design for all browsers and screen res. I manually check for this but was think how do you all do it.

I check with multi browser, exp Firefox, Internet Explorer, Safari, Chrome and Opera.

I only do with mozilla and IE ... I think it it work with these it will work with others

I am now testing my sites with IE6, IE7, Firefox and Chrome, Opera manually.

Yeah there are lots of website which demonstrate your website outlook in all browsers and versions but i prefer to check manually on IE and firefox because these are the most commonly used browsers.

I test ie6 7 and 8, firefox, opera, chrome and safari. I also try to check different resolutions. All done manually I'm afraid.

I manually check them using my IE, Mozilla and Google Chrome.

Mine, I check them with Mozilla Firefox and Opera only. I'm having a hard time using Google chrome. Whenever I'm installing it, it gets corrupted. And I can't open any site.

Use http://browsershots.org/ they will submit them to all sorts of operating systems and browsers. They show your screenshots and you can download them.

They give you a burst of bounce traffic not sure how that works with seo.

I also use all browsers I can load onto Vista.

There is no software to exactly tell you the screen shows. No software will ever substitute the human eye.

I always do hands-on testing with the latest firefox, opera, chrome, and safari versions. In Internet Explorer, I test on versions 6-8. I have version 8 installed, I test on earlier versions using IETester (also on 5.5, sometimes, just out of sheer curiosity).
As for any other testing, I go to http://browsershots.org
It's got a lot of browsers, and it's free.

I have no idea except that it shows as a lot of visitors, you can rack up a fake 1000 visits to the site with it but since they are all bounce. I have no idea what web traffic monitoring would make of it. I am curious actualy.

For me I only get 60 visitors a day so doing a browsershot on it make a big difference to my stats.

Do they not do any boosting in search results to sites that people spend a lot of time on, or a lot of people go to? Do they flag you if you get too many bounce? Like I said, i personaly have no idea, mabey i should go ask this in the SEO forums if i really want to know.

I dont agree, I have had several issues with chrome and safari as well as windows 2000, and XP on some browsers.

i do check for compatibly but only on the major browsers like IE, Firefox, Chrome and Safari
