Right! So you're under this latest misconception that somehow search engines know all about the visitors to every single page on every single site on the Internet and "boost" the pages with most visitors.

I wish I knew how such a ridiculous, non-sensical idea gets spread around as a fact!

I check with chrome, firefox, opera, safari on my computer, when I am done with the website I check it with browsershots.org,

I find this software helpful, it installs multiple versions of internet explorer - it isnt compatable with vista tho

I don't think automating it is a good idea. Manually is still the best, but time consuming. I test most of my sites at work, parents house etc as well. Even in the same broswer I get different results. It's a good learning experience

there are many way to check site but I always check with Mozilla Firefox, Internet Explorer, Chrome , Opera
