I'm looking for a cms for a novice webdesigner to sell digital products.

The system will not accept credits cards, I would like the ability to issue credits for the users to downloads the files.

So for instance they would send me a money order for $20.00.

Then I would give them 20 credits on their account on the site.

They could then use those credits to buy products.

Take a look at magento or zen cart.

Zen-cart is very easy to use.

I would say Magento but that option (of credits) is only available for Enterprise.

oscommerce is your best bet actually since they have tons of contributions.
