i've read frames are bad but i'm just learning new things as i've neva built a website befor, i' be greetful if some one could tell me how to open a new page within a link cos every time i've tryed to do it the link opens in a new page.

You would like to know how to open a new page from a link, because each time you try, that is what happens?

i got a image on my site only 100x100 within a frame, within dreamweaver i've linked it to a new page when i click the image the new page opens in a different tab in firefox i wanna be able to click the image and have the page open within that frame, i've tryed endless number or different ways but none seem to work

WHY are you using frames at all ? They're horrendous and you really don't want to use them.
