Hey guys, haven't been around in awhile (health issues). But now I need some good voice recording recommendations for my current web project.
I'm working on an internship ATM and one of the key features my professor wants to include is the ability for students to be able to record their voices for grading and testing purposes. (This is an educational, foreign language site I'm developing here.)
He'd like to have a registration area where any members who record their voice will use an applet that sends an mp3 file (the recording) to a created folder on the server (like "test question #1" or something from the page that contains the player).
One thing we looked into is javasonics. The functionality of it seems alright, however the program is somewhat outdated (design-wise) and it costs a monthly fee to use.
If anyone knows of any good, up-to-date (preferably free, open source) script alternatives we can program into the CMS I'm working on, or has any experience with this web functionality and would like to share, I'd appreciate it.
And if you need any more details, let me know.
