and dont get the pirated version of dreamweaver, some people in here said they are full of spyware and viruses...beware.

I agree, FrontPage is best for people who are just starting to learn HTML, but Dreamweaver is a much more powerful HTML editor

I've used Dreamweaver in the past, but it seems like its geared more towards the visual web designers rather than serious developers. I would never thing of using it for a huge project that requires lots of .php files and classes. I also don't like that the syntax highlighting sometimes just turns off. That really bothers me.
I use eclipse PDT for all my big PHP projects, and just eclipse in general for programming in everything except .NET. It's a great IDE and I think that you can gain a lot by using it.
