Is it more professional/common to have a website title read "Official Blank Name Website", or "Blank Name | Official Website"?

Doesn't really matter, either is used and will be picked up. It's a matter of personal preference really.

I typically use the "Blank Name | Official Website" variety.

it is not a big matter.depends upon your interest .you choose any one.

For SEO purposes, consider putting keywords into the title as well as the name.

Either of them can be an option but the second one looks more formal and attractive in the eyes. Also, if you will really put "Official Website" on the title, it is not really necessary unless that is really a company or a celebrity name with many similar names listed as domain.

For me, I prefer to use the second option. The keyword/s are placed first before the word official website.

"Blank Name | Official Website" and for the "Blank Name" field, try to throw in competitive keywords for SEO.

A mixture of both would be a good choice. Use your website services offering keywords and company name too.

Hmm.... both would be good however in my opinion, If you are targeting certain keywords then the second one would be just the right thing.

I would go for Blank Name | Official Website too because then keywords in the title appears first

i think both are OK. whichever suits to ur mind but still for a suggestion i would prefer Blank Name | Official Website to use on my websites.

I'll have to go with the second one. The first one's not too bad but the second one's better as you could see with the majority votes.

why you have emphasized on the word like "official"
website is always official.
yes if you have competitor and tries to mischief you then it is possible.
it could happen always with small companies,
not with large companies.
google or microsoft will write that microsoft official website.

what do u think?
