i have recently put up a small website for my boss showing him the basic layout. Graphics and content etc is not complete but we needed something up quickly.

Thw website is www.worldsatllite.co.uk

The page is made out of 5 frames: left, right, top middle and bottom

the bottom page contains the information

middle contains flash navigation bar

top contains the flash banner

left and right are only threr to centralise the pages.

THE PROBLEM is that the left frame is fixed in size, but the important section (the middle ones) arent and thus when your looking at them in differnet screen sizes the middle information borders move thus cropping the page.

I need it to be a lot more like www.futurautos.co.uk, where the middle section is allways fixed in size.

I have tried with my limited knowledge and dreamweavers perticulary unhelpful help guide to solve this problem but to no avail. Cna you please have a look and make suggestions?

regards

Daniel

I'm guessing you set the size for the part (the content part) in percentage. Try setting the size in pixels (just don'T add the % at the end) and see if that fixes your problem.

Your site appears to be down at the moment?

The URL should be http://www.worldsatellite.co.uk/

Anyway, my suggesstion is that you remove the frames completely. You don't need them and search engine spiders have some problems with getting past framed pages. If you absolutely must have frames, then remove the left and right frames. Your website looks awful with 800 x 600 screen resolution, because the side frames are too wide

The onyl reason we used frames was because we didnt want the flash thing to reload everytime, or do you think that wont be a problem?
