know of a file library script?

I'm looking for a script or online program where an adminstrator can upload documents (such as PDF files) to a website and a user can browse through the archive of documents and download them. I was looking for a wordpress plug-in, but I could not find anything suitable for what I wanted to accomplish for this project.

I've used edoscstore, http://jdmeades.com/edocstore-faq , sounds exactly like what you are looking for. It doesn't look like it's still in development, but my install is still working without any problems. Do a search or use the contact form on the link I posted above.

i sent an email to the guy that runs the script, but I guess it isn't available anymore to the public.

While searching to try and find you a link I discovered an unpatched problem for the script. If you find the script proceed with caution.
