So I just started into web design... I built this little thing over the summer on my own and adapted it recently for this website. I used FrontPage and DW CS3 but by the way I did it, I might as well have done it in notepad. The thing just won't display properly in IE6 or below.

I checked DW and it told me about the 3px text jog thing and all that but what I don't understand are why blue backgrounds are popping out where they shouldn't be and why the backgrounds of the different sections are not somewhat see-through. Does IE6 just not support that stuff? What can I do

FYI, I have the whole CS3 Web Premium package in case modifynig the images is involved.

IE6 does NOT support transparent PNGs if that's what you used. You can force it with some javascript (do a search for "PNG fix"), but that only goes so far, it won't work on repeating backgrounds.
