room remodeler

I have an idea for an online application to take a wireframe drawing of a room and be able to change textures for the floor and colors for the wall.

How in the world could I start to do this?

A Flash application is about the only reliable way.

You could go with Flash, or you could develop in Flex and deploy that way. That is absolutely the most reliable. If you wanted to, you could try to do it within just the confines of web elements using JavaScript, but I wouldn't recommend it. Debugging would kill you!

I too recommend flash. It would be the best option for something like this.
