I am interested in finding out how much a coder would charge to bridge WP MU and vB. Similar to THIS FREE HACK on vB.org, but uses WPMU. I talked to a guy who could do it, but his price IMO was WAY high.

anyone think they could do this?

Pretty good place, I am doing some tutorials in php, but I lost all my bookmarks so now I have to go hunting again. I can't seem to find alot of php stuff I need so I will have to learn how to do it myself.

Seems like the bridge should already be in existance and ready to download and install for free.

I am running WPMU here and the sign question plugin in installed and activated. yet it still won't show-up on the create blog screen

installed in plugins/ directory, if i put it in mu-plugins/ it doesn't seem to work (nothing does in there)

I have not personally looked at WPMU just yet. What are the differences in it from the regular Wordpress or is it a different thing all together? The reason I ask is because we have dome some Wordpress & vb integrations but not WPMU so far and want to see how hard it might be to make a plugin for it. This is the kind of thing we do, but the special php coding that might need to be done may be more than we do at this point.

well i am sure they are similar but i don't know specifically. all i can say is install it or d/l it and check it out. I actually found another person who is interested in the same thing here who would help me pay for the cost. so if you have the time see if you can do it.

I will check it and out and see how it is. I'm not a php coder myself but know a few and maybe can see if I can find someone to do this if its too much for me to do.
