Hi webmasters,
I am scouting for the most reliable website host for my business site. I came across Hostgator but I have no experience at this and thus would like a honest opinion from someone who has dealt with them before. How is their customer support? I can't take it for granted what they say on their website as gospel truth. Thank you.

Hostgator's customer support is similar to what you'll see around other hosting sites. You get a ticket and that answer your questions in turn. However I have been there for 3 months and haven't had a problem with them.

We used Hostgator in the past and I can recommend it. It's a good host to start with. We were there some months and it was ok.

We have move to LiquidWeb which I can warmly recommend (we have dedicated server). Top notch support & fast server.

I would also recommend checking out recent reviews at http://www.webhostingtalk.com - it's THE place to find your host.

host gator is no good try another company. im having to move one of my bigger forums because they cant take my attachment.php file on the usage.

This is the wrong forum for hosting chat. Anyways I totally recommend LiquidWeb for their fantastic support and pricing.

Dreamhost is one I would recommend.

I am sorry but I do not understand what is it they cannot do. They cannot remove attachment.php from the web logs, or the file is locked and they cannot unlock it?
