No. Most expert webmasters know about Google backlinks, but there are plenty of articles out there with more information.

The Digitalpoint.com keyword tracker tools is a good tool for tracking your keywords and backlinks for Google, Yahoo and MSN.

And its free to use. You do need to get your Googel API key to use it, of course.
