I think you should try to buy a turnkey that is making revenue already and try to mass advertise it and get the revenue up and make that your project..

by definition a turnkey doesnt make revenue.

Your best bet is signing up at ShareASale.com and CJ.com and becoming an affiliate. Heck, maybe you'll be the next Rosalind Gardner.

Actually, me and my friend started with nothing. We used free hosting and finally got someone to host us in exchange for ads. We grew so big that we were raking in at least $100 PER day. No lie.

Buy some nice forum, a good forum what you can get for 1000$, and spent 500$ in advertising etc. and keep 50$.

Branda78, put your money in the bank and let the interest grow while you figure out exactly what you want to do. Browse library shelves, browse forums, jot down business possibilities, and decide what where your passions lie.

Do not inverst so much money, if you read some books, and some stuff on this forum you can learn how to earn money very cheap.
Normally i only buy the domain, and then i earn some money, but in my newest project i have invested 100 pound, and i have alleready in 2 days earned the most of it back, and i hasnt done any big marketing right now, because it is soon new year and i dont have time :P

I would advise you to start a website. You have to think about what kind of website you want to get into and then you can hire a freelance web developer to design/program the website for you.

Anybody think there is money in proxy sites? Small investment.... big return?

May I suggest a freebie site? Drop 200 or so for a decent script, and set up a simple payout site for referrals. They do remarkably well, and you could easily earn back your investment in weeks. The tough part is marketing, but if you are legit with everything you will earn a lot of cred on sites like anything4free.com which means a LOT because they have a huge community and a lot of influence. If you do decide to choose this route, then I also suggest signing up there so you can personally associate with your userbase. Good luck!

Proxy sites are not a small investment. I've never run one but I hear the server specs and bandwidth you'd need to run a successful one make it cost prohibitive at the start.

if you fancy you can invest in muggd.com an underconstruction (nearly to be completed) myspace type site. but better,faster, easier and will have more unique features!
