i have almost completed the new-age (almost) fast-loading (soon) nav bar for safariquip which can be viewed on this page

there are still some bugs which need ironing out, one of which has me foxed.

the transition between the different button colours at present looks bad at best. i need the button to change colour half way through.

how am i best to tackle this issue? i was considering creating a seperate image for the transition piece, but this increases the space between the buttons, making it look out of place.

anyone that can suggest a solution / solve the problem? help is most appreciated, as always

thankyou for your time

I'm not quite sure I understand your question...

>>i need the button to change colour half way through.

you mean you want to make the color change gradual? Just make the onmouseover image an animated image which has a gradual color change...?

thankx for the response chroder, but i found an error in my coding that screwed it up, its fixed now.

in DW, unless you set cell spacing and padding to 0, it applies it as 1 or something.

soon as i changed the figures to 0 instead of nothing there, then it sorted out my problem.

i don't know if anyone else has expierienced this, but its "£$%^& annoying to say the least!!
