hi all

I need some help with choosing a script.I want to start a site that has info about colleges in my locality,the site will have several pages with one or two pages for every college.The page includes pictures and other details of the respective college.

the site may have a few hundred pages,so i am looking
for a script that allows me to add pages upon will ,and also that supports multiple users(with power hierarchy) ,a forum integration(smf/phpbb/mybb) will be very good but is not mandatory.

and finally as i don't intend to make any profit from all this,can someone please suggest a free script

It's hard to tell you an exact script without knowing the general design you are looking for.

It sounds like you would probably do well with a free PHP based CMS script, (Content Management System). You can find these around the net very easily by doing a search and they come in many different designs to suit your needs...

I would say drupal or joomla would be good for this ... both have really good user/community support and lots of free plugins/add-ons
