...of this template. Its a new feature to my site, as I am a website designer with no jobs, I have designed a free template with three colours. Please review THIS TEMPLATE ONLY (in 3 colours).

As a few suggestions for improvement, you may want to bring your navigation tabs all the way to the left instead of indenting them. Also, the background of your rounded corners don't seem to always match the white background of the page. It's a good start, but it's a little basic. I would encourage you to continue practicing and also to look at some template galleries for inspiration. As you make more templates, you'll develop your own distinctive style.

Well justing clicking through it fast, I was left with a good impression. Without even looking at minor details. So IMO it's already looking great.

EDIT: I was referring to your site, but the same effect passes off onto the template as well.

The rounded corners don't really mesh with the rest of the elements of the site, IMO. I like the color schemes and I like the header style and image.

I do like the texture at the back.
But at the heading I wouldn't make the yellow rectangle with the shade and the black one which is above without shade. IMHO it's a bit confusing cos the geometry is violated.

Hey man, Go to Borders or B&Nobles and there's this mag that talks about a 3d navigation and integration into your site (like a 3d ball with link around it and stuff)... I's say to checkit out and set it up into your home page and menu bars. Cause it seems as though your website isn't up to your potential. and that 3D might just get you some more phone calls

and beside the templates look great and minimalistic/simple...I like em

I like what I saw.
Also I had a look at your website, nice design but I wouldn't draw attention to negative aspects of your experience, i.e. poor skills in Javascript and flash, and making it obvious that you have no body of work to showcase.
Also I don't think it a good idea to suggest that you might work for free just to get experience. If you want to do this why not approach some of your local organisations. You could try the local youth organisations like scouts/guides, the junior football league, the local church or produce a website showing your local area. If you think about it there are probably enough small organisations in your area to provide you with a worthwhile portfolio without you having to admit to the world that you have limited experience.
Good luck for the future.
