personally I use http://morguefile.com. I like that you don't have to link or cite authors. All they ask is that you contact the author (you can do it on their site) and tell them that you used their photo. In all of my experiences the author was flattered that I wanted to use their picture and it gave me one more visitor to my site .

The clipart.com which says free, is apparently now subscription only.

A good paid site is stock-photography-now.com
Also photo-key.com

Anyone using clipart.com, Read their terms and conditions properly before using.
They don't allow for some uses, which a webmaster can take for granted.

JupiterImages.com is the owner. One will find more sites at Jupiter.
