I have come across several websites where you can have them set up your existing site where someone can then edit it through a web browser. And for a fee, they can set it up with my logo so that it is "rebranded" to look like a service I offer and I can, in turn, mark up. I know that you can achieve similar results with Contribute/Dreamweaver, but the prices are lower (around $49) going this route.

Here are a couple of examples:

http://www.edit.com/
http://www.equinewebmarketing.com/eq...my-website.htm

My question is: how do they do it? I have noticed that a couple of sites have the same demo and price structure, so my guess is that there is some software or programming out there that they are using and marking up. If I had access to that, then that would cut them out as the middle man and I could offer this service directly...

ANY THOUGHTS or IDEAS?

Thanks,
Neil Brown

They're using a content management system and all they do is plop your branding into their CMS template.
