I been trying to find a really good 3 column template for my website for some time.
How can I use a WordPress or Joomla theme on my website? Joomla and all that confuses me, I have my own way of editing my sites.

Is there some way to use them without downloading Wordpress or Joomla?

What you need is the bacis structure of the html pages, right? Why don't just pull the html & css code from the site joopla & wordpress site that looks good using the browser? Then edit it to your needs.

I believe dreamweaver can do this a bit more better way (for html editing point of view) as well and HTMLKit and other programs you can use to edit the pages.

Ah well. I just want a nice looking 3 column layout with a header at the top. And the only decent ones i can find are a wordpress theme or something. I dont want to use wordpress or anything like that.
I've been to every template site on the web and they all basically have each others templates. It's annoying.

Just click test run-page open, right click mouse and select Save Page as...
I think firefox saves even the css for you and images etc.

Then just delete from the HTML code all not needed texts and designs, create your own graphics and that should do the trick. You should have a static html page based on wordpress template.

I've found a Joomla template that I want and I saved it but it came out incomplete. The template is here: http://demo.toolboxcreations.com/ ..on the top toolbar on the far right, select "Officestyle Lite".
