Im creating a short flash intro for a website. Ive created it with a canvas size of 1024x768 and stated on the intro that this is the best resolution to view the site in.

However, is there any way of making the flash intro look good and ok in most resolutions??(In 800x600 the flash intro is obviously a bit too big!)

In my experience flash intros don't fill the entire page (i.e. 1024xwotever). I would suggest making it smaller and centering it and itll look fine with either resolutions. Also its gonna make it quite a big file size so 56kers wont be happy....

could you set a flash size in percents? it may be the solution
