Does anyone else have designer block when it comes to designing a website in solely red and blue?

I have shown my client ideas with light shades of blue and red which work well as a colour schyme but he is deterimed for bright red and dark blue...its driving me nuts!!!

That's almost as annoying as website with black backgrounds and blue text. Talk about crazy vibrations.

Design an ugly website and a nicer alternative.

Use white as the dominant color, so that red and blue become accent colors and therefore become more prominent.

I have a site I've almost finished in dark yellow and blue and went through most of the same issues.

Sometimes throwing some neutral gray can offset the blinding colors. If that doesn't work try poking the client's eyes out...

I GOT IT! If your client wants to see the site in red and blue, there's one answer that will help, regardless of colors used:

You owe me bigtime for this.

Wow Adam - those glasses have solved all my designing problems for life! Thanks a bunch!

It would be even better if someone could invent a conversation system that allows you to digitalise physical objects, email them, then un-digitalise them at my end, turning them into physical objects again - the ultimate technology version of snail mail!

P.S. something about that image is making me think of the 70s and wacky afro guys (like Adam's old avatar - bring it back!)

HighVoltage123, the site is about air conditioning.

I'm still debating between poking the client's eyes out and the glasses (which i might add is hilarious!!! laughed for ages!)...
