Alright, I thought about putting this in suggestions... nope. That seemed more the place for actual design and current content suggestions. I thought about putting it in the WC... nope.

What I want is just suggestions for unique and visitor - attention - grabbing content. I have had my domain, http://www.liquid-thought.com for almost a year now (got it July 27th, 2003, I believe), and it's just been rotting since then. As you can see, I still haven't done anything with it. Mainly for two reasons; I don't know what to include, and I just haven't been able to get a good design.

I didn't want to hire someone to design it; I wanted to do that myself. After all, I've got all and more than I should need: PS7, DreamweaverMX, FlashMX, and some more I think. But what I'm looking for right now is someone to help me think of content for my site that would be at least relatively unique, and something that I could continuously add to and "update" as time goes on.

If you can help me, please posts! Also, this is just a side note, if anyone wants to give me some ideas for a layout without actually doing it for me, but just drawing up a quick black and white one px line sketch for me with colour ideas, I'd also be very greatful of that!

OK, smokingtequila, I can tell where you get your name from. What you are asking from us is virtually impossible. What is the content of you site supposed to be anyway? Personally, I can't just come up with an idea for a website just by looking at the domain-name. I could come up with plenty of ideas for sites, but that doesn't matter if it isn't what you want. Maybe you should either let us know what content you want, just do it or get rid of the domain.

I'm looking for absolutely anything that I can put on my site. It doesn't have to relate to the domain name or anything; I just want ideas.

PS: This username is the name of a font...

Good thought; I'll keep it in mind. I'll have to think hard on it, though, so as to be able to find fonts to offer for download without breaking any copyrights or anything... that's the last thing I need is any legal trouble now.

How about some special effects. That always grabs the eye!

Sure, special effects would be nice... I'll have to read up on how to achieve some, though. I'm certain that JavaScript would benefit me... off I go!

The name Liquid-Thought made me think of the type of puzzles that do not have straightforward answers. There are always those puzzles to make you think "outside" of the box (or different from the norm).

Some good content might be puzzles of this nature and also optical illusions (like stuff from Escher). Now that's liquid thought for sure!

And of course, have one page dedicated to those bed-wetters.

How about a site dedicated to tequila and an in-depth analysis of the blue agave plant it is made from. From there you could get into a history of tequila, its evolution and rise to a predominant place in the pantheon of American liquor.

Supplementing all of that, of course, is a comprehensive database of tequila recipes, novelty uses (e.g., foods, hors d'ouevers [however that is spelled]).

History of tequila, huh? I'll keep it in mind, but don't be surprised if I don't add it.

And Dave; could you give me an example of one of those puzzles?
