On the point of hosting, I like my hoster, PowWeb. Plus they support (really easy to install) Joomla! or phpCMS, which are both free content management systems, which make it easy to edit the site. As for the other points, you best consult a professional web developer, as I doubt many people could build a decent wiki on their own, set it up, debug etc and a layered calender. But I guess that's why you were asking.
If you are going to try yourself, get a trial download of DreamWeaver or similar.
Also, for the members' system you're going to need some server side stuff (PHP, or ASP, ColdFusion etc) so look for the availability of those when you get web hosting. AS I said before, I like my hoster PowWeb who are pretty good on customer satisfaction (if a little slow on more complex questions). You can find a link to them at www.foundation-flash.com/powweb.php
