Why am I selling Lands of Nydera? Because RPG games are not my type of games. Strategy games are. Once I sell off this game, I'm planning on starting a browser based strategy game, similar to Civilization IV.
You receive full rights over everything you see on
www.playlon.net, domain, script, layout, images, everything. You also receive everything, except hosting. The game uses around 70GB bandwidth a month. I do not have stats as I just moved over to a new host. You might also notice that moving doesnt go very fast, that is because of the new host. My previous host, HostGator, worked fine and fast for the game, until I received a message that they dont allow chats and RPG games on their server, so I moved as soon as I could.
The game has a fine map maker, in which the players can make the map for you, or you can do it yourself.
Ofcourse, this game is not easy to manage. It is a game you need to spend your time for, that is why once you buy the website, you receive a full guide on how to control the game and how to adjust it.
So what do you need on your server for this to function?
PHP4, SQL and Cronjobs.
If you cannot program PHP and SQL, then it is no use for you to purchase the game, as you will never make more money out of it than the price you bought it for. The game has incredible potentional to become a massive game, with incredible amounts of players. Currently, the game gets around 30-50 new sign ups a day.
So can you make money out of this? Yes, alot of money. Currently, only the Google Adsense on the frontpage makes $20 - $30 a month. However, if you login into the game, you will see that there is a Donation function, which is not finished yet. in this function the players can donate money through PayPal to your PayPal, or through any other paying system you prefer, and they receive an 'upgrade' to their account. For example, a player can choose to change their character image to something better looking, a knight with wings for example, which will cost the player $19,99.
As you can see, Lands of Nydera is a game unique of its kind, with a huge world, with potentional to grow huge.
