Hi guys, i have a reseller account, i want to change my email

i already change the email in WHM > List accounts > the primary domain > Change Contact Email

also in the hosting company WHMCS (the place that i bought this reseller account) > Client Area > My Details > Email Address

then i check my domain using domainwhitepages.com, but in the DNS records > email > its still says my old email address

please help, how to make the email in dns records changed to new email address, for current sites, and new sites that i will add again later

WHM -> DNS Functions -> Edit DNS Zone -> Select the zone name & click [Edit] ->

Edit the SOA record (Start Of Authority)

The support name goes in seperated by a . NOT an @ symbol

so: my.name.domain.tld

To change it for all zones, edit the zone templates to update the SOA then use "Synchronize DNS Records" to set them all to the new SOA record

DNS Functions > Edit Zone Templates

in that page, there is these options
Quote:
simple - Domains with an A entry only
standard - Domains on a dedicated IP address, parked domains, and addon domains
standardvirtualftp - Domains on a shared IP address
but the content all just looks like this, there is no myoldemail@domain.com address
Quote:
; cPanel %cpversion%
; Zone file for %domain%
$TTL %ttl%
@ %nsttl% IN SOA %nameserver%. %rpemail%. (
%serial% ; serial, todays date+todays
86400 ; refresh, seconds
7200 ; retry, seconds
3600000 ; expire, seconds
86400 ) ; minimum, seconds

%domain%. %nsttl% IN NS %nameserver%.
%domain%. %nsttl% IN NS %nameserver2%.
%domain%. %nsttl% IN NS %nameserver3%.
%domain%. %nsttl% IN NS %nameserver4%.

%nameserverentry%. IN A %nameservera%
%nameserverentry2%. IN A %nameservera2%
%nameserverentry3%. IN A %nameservera3%
%nameserverentry4%. IN A %nameservera4%

%domain%. IN A %ip%

localhost.%domain%. IN A 127.0.0.1

%domain%. IN MX 0 %domain%.

Ok, in that case you can either hardcode your email into the zone templates or set it globally in Server Configuration -> Basic cPanel & WHM Setup -> Contact information

Ok that means you either ask your server provider to change it, which they may not want to or just hard code the templates.

To change for all areas, SOA, and then set them all to the new SOA record updates using the "DNS records for" Sync to the area you want to modify the template
