I created a sub-domain the other day (Godaddy) and it came out looking like this:

www.sitename dot com/sub-domain/

Shouldn't that come out looking like:

www.sub-domain.sitename dot com

I know - I should know this - but never had to create a sub-domain before. Through Godaddy it's very easy, but it looked like it came out looking like a sub-directory

BigCat, have you resolved the question?

I have found an article about subdomains creation directly in GoDaddy knowledge base:
http://help.godaddy.com/article/4652#addsubdomain

If you follow the steps and still face the problem - contact the support team.
