HELP! my new topic icon will NOT show up! theme is installed

i just installed my new forum with phpbb and i tried going through all permission for posting and i couldnt find it but this is what the problem is:

when i go to any forum categories, there is NO post new thread icon.. so theres no way of posting new threads...

please take a look if you can..

I am not sure if I understand what you were looking for, but I hit the New Topic button, which let me post a a new thread test message in the announcements forum. Is that not the start of a new thread?

Edit: It appears that you might have solved the problem before I happened along. I was re-reading the title of your help request, which called it a new topic button. I see upon going back in that you ran a test and then launched the forum...

Hi I am having the same problem with my new forum.

I installed phpbb and installed a new theme called Xandgray.

For some reason my forum does not have any "new thread" or "new post" buttons anywhere. I have changed all the permissions to enable this and it has not fixed the problem.

Any ideas how I can fix this?

I have tested your forum and I could successfully create a new thread and also post it.
