Hi,

Okay so i am getting more into server management and am getting into it.

To cut a long story short, server backups are backup to my desktop PC and i want to have a link on desktop called backup server which i can click and it initalises /scripts/cpbackup (and also a couple of commands before and after...)

How can i do this?

i was thinking how i would do it in windows which would be a simple batch file but im not quite sure how i could have this work so i dont have to manually enter the commands into putty :/

Any ideas
