Technically, all you need to do is:

1. Download a portable server (Google is your friend)
2. Setup you site & test it via local host
3. Upload to a free webhost

4. Sit back...Enjoy, and let the web do the work!

Also: If you want to run the site off your ip address, why not just go with a dedicated ip? It's worth while in the end...You know why? I guarantee verizon, or for that matter any ISP will cut your service as soon as you start using their bandwidth...It's better to pay a few extra dollars for a dedicated ip, and use a local server for testing your site.

Remember, there's no place like: 127.0.0.1 --> Home --> (local ip)
http://localhost (127.0.0.1) doesn't use your ISP's bandwidth, it uses YOUR computers resources ( power,energy,ram,cpu etc, not there's (reffering to your isp) ) that's exactly why it "doesn't cost a thing to use". Better to be safe than sorry.

It's going to be a bit harder ... but nowhere near impossible.

Also, I would stick with bind. If you're planning to actually learn something ... why not learn something you might see again in the future. It's what most of us web hosts actually use : P. Consider it the "industry standard".

Just browsing the wt forumin a hope to find something that dealt with my issue web server 2003 iis6 with sp2.
Could you run your method by me in more detail please I have got some grey matter assosiated with computers over the years that I am allways open to new methods.
