I know that WEP is not secure and one should use WPA wireless routers. But if I'm at a public library network and perhaps they are on WEP. Is it secure to still use that WEP network if I buying something over HTTPS on an ecommerce website where I am typing in my credit card number?

Is using HTTPS (which is secure) over a WEP (unsecured) network okay? That is my question.

SSL (HTTPS) encrypts the communication between servers. so no matter what the communication carrier is, the data is still encrypted.
