WHOIS question?

Not sure if this was the right section to post this question, but I'll ask it here anyway. I have a domain registered with yahoo! webhosting. In the WHOIS database it still shows my name listed as the registrant. Is there a way to make this information private? I have yahoo privacy guard, which hides my email, address, etc. but not my name. When I used google to try and find more about this, I heard of something called WHOISguard, but it doesn't seem to be available with yahoo hosting. Anyone know any other way to make this information private? I just don't like the idea of my name being out there for anyone to look up.

There are registrars that offer hiding of the info. Some of them charge extra for it.

Yes you could use a service to hide your whois fully i normally just get mine fully covered as i use godaddy even though its slightly dearer but its free when you purchase 5 or more domains.

Okay thanks guys - but if my registrar doesn't offer to completely hide all the information (at least I don't think it does) is there a website that offers it by itself? I don't mind paying a little extra.

Can't they slap you for not having legit information and even take your domain?

Well, what I did was email my host and they changed it for me. The information is all legit, it's just on private registration.
