Unmetered servers are quite pricey, especially 100 mbps one or even a 1 gbit one! When you pick your servers, do you go for unmetered or metered bandwidth? Shared or dedicated bandwidth?

All depends on how much traffic you are expect to get on a site.

If tons of traffic then of course dedicated/unmetered, it's better and cheaper.
If a bit of traffic then shared/metered, better use the money somewhere else
