Has anyone else tried Freewebs as a freehost provider?
I did back in 02-04, because my site was hosted on it, until I decided to purchase a domain name.

I tried to find about packeages, but i couldnot. Can you show me the page where they have listed about the space and/or addons they have??

The thing i noticed is "Unlimited Bandwidth" which is a lot for a free hoting provider.

I used to use Freewebs too,
but I was using the PageBuilders back then around 2002
It's an okay host I guess, but now, there's all kinds of ads everywhere.

Freewebs is not good. They say it's ad free but they hide the ads - e.g if you ever get to a 404 page on Freewebs, you better hope you've got a fast pc otherwise your pc will crash with all the ads. [it did many a time on my old 666mhz celeron.]

Most people who use the free sevices such as .tk, freewebs ect. are kids so they can't pay for hosting ect, so I suppose it's alright for them - but I never sign up on free domains, or freewebs sites.

an alternative for people who cant afford hosting is 999webmasters.com/forum/. for something as little as a single link, or doing an image or something else for them will give you a lifetime free hosting package. Thats what i did for a while, although support seems slow.

I would suggest people to use www.avidao.com they have provided a great service for the cost of posting on a message board.

I hosted one of my very first websites with them, and I absolutely love their WYSIWYG editor!
