Bluehost?

Anyone here use bluehost.com for hosting? My brother and I are looking into sharing an account together on there, anyone recommend that host? Any pros and cons of it too?

I've heard pretty good things about Bluehost.
My personal favorites are site5.com and hostgator.com, but there are many good hosts out there (a few not so good ones too).

Using Bluehost, I signed up and two days later the server was down. It wasn't down overly long, but if it happens again, I will be dropping BlueHost, and using Hostgator, they have an excellent backup system. If you get the small Host service with BlueHost, like 6.95 Month for example, they require 12 Month Contract which will cost you about $95.00 up front. There are other Hosts that go Month to Month with no 12 Month commitment.

I use blue host for their 6 domain deal. I have been really happy with them and enjoy their automatic install for wordpress.

I have some clients that use bluehost. I have contacted their support a few times and they are very responsive. If I was considering a shared hosting plan I would probably go with them.

I've been with Bluehost for 6 months. Recently they've had a couple of instances of major downtime, but to be fair these are the only instances i've noticed since i've been with them. If i was looking for a host, it'd probably be a turn off reading about the recent problems, but then again alot of hosts have long threads on webhosting talk about some problem or another.

I've heard good things about them but have no firsthand experience. I know some people who have them as their host without any major issues so far (it's been about 3-4 months now).

my dad is insisting that i go with bluehost instead of hosting on my 1ghz win98, but i don't get too much bandwidth yet so i won't go with anyone for awhile. But when i do i will consider bluehost, and hostgator

Yes, me too. They seem to have a pretty good track record. I also find whreviews.com to have honest reviews.
