Ever been DDOSed before?

I have, but it wasn't very significant considering the other sites I've seen that've been hit.

So have you been hit before?

Happened to me a few times, and it makes you feel like crap. You just have to sit there watching your server down and nothing you can really do about it.

I have, the server went down for almost 3 days. Sucked really bad.

I have a couple of times, although never anything too serious resulted from it. The attacks were pretty short (a couple of hours each) and only affected a couple of my sites.

atleast 4-5 times while with HostRocket and a few times with another...

Heh, reason I made this thread is that one of my competitors (but we don't really compete) had his site down for like 15 hours from DDOS.

Hmm... I've been DDoSed many times before.. but they don't last long.. Usually ends within the hour..

well i have been Ddosed like 3 to 4 times.. Even once I was hacked by my own friend.... but he was just tryin the tool he had and it worked :| i was scared :shuriken:

Yes, several of our sites have been hit with DDOS attacks. Our datacenter has been pretty good about monitoring and defending against them though, and we haven't seen a single attack since they deployed some kind of anti-DDOS software/hardware in the datacenter. I'm with EV1.
