Lunarpages dot com. Lots of problems, poor support, you name it.

I've had lots of bad experiences lately, just one of my sites gets hacked regularly, and each time I found the hosts would shut my site down, and refuse to talk to me about it. The first time it happened, the hosting co I'd been with for 3 years shut it down, when I asked why they said I was hosting illegal Phishing sites. I got to the bottom of it, but they just point blank refused to talk to me. Still took the next 3 months payment in advance though.
Twice more the same site was hacked, and shut down by unhelpful hosting co's, so I have all but abandoned it.

Feels like it's time to start this discussion again.

I'm total at the end of my wits with Hostdime.com (which isn't worth a host nickel). I've been with them for two months and...

They've had to switch my VPS twice due to hardware failures. Repeated CPanel failures; repeated need to restart FTP; VPS crashes...

As I'm writing this my VPS has been down for over 24 hours. I get reports ever 6 hours saying 'just a little bit more time...we're working as hard as we can...we don't think we've lost your data...'

Awful.

i tried lunarpages, but was not happy with them

My worst experience was with Servage. Sites were slow and the last couple of months there were constant problems and my sites were down. the final insult was during one of the many downtimes I tried to access the Servage homepage to find a message there that said that homepage could not be reached, but that this was not the case with their clients sites. All my sites were down!! I've moved a couple of weeks ago to Bluehost. So far so good.

My worst hosting experience was with HostAway.net.
Their VPS really suck and constantly crash. They didn't love up with their "guarantees" and I had to bad-mouth them on WHT for a refund, which they tried to deny.
