We had to buy our own servers for the type of website that we will be running and I was wondering what type of tools to install to make things easier..heres some info about the server

Windows NT WEBSERVER1 5.2 build 3790
Microsoft-IIS/6.0
I have a website thats hosted at hostgator and it uses CPanel which I would want to use but I don't know anything about server/database so I'm wondering what type of tools I need to be able to easily Add Multiple websites to the server and anythin else u guys u think would be useful..

And the other question is we have Windows Server 2003 running Microsoft SQL Server 2005 is this alot different from MySQL?
I was told MySQL is free but on the mysql.com it says 30 day trial so where is the free version?

Thanks for the help!

Plesk as a control panel for IIS works very well.

Yes and No
They are both database servers but have major differences in the way that some queries would have to be written.

MySQL Community Server.
