Hi, I had this incident where when I log in my server, I found an account which is not mine created on my server. I then checked the IP and found this idiot are from Romania. He create an account for web2sms.us and he did provide email address which is spiritulso@yahoo.com

So, I went to check what else new on my server and thank god nothing serious happen. I delete the account and secure my server and change my server password.

So, the reason I post this thread is to let everyone know about this incident and be careful of this guy who use the email address. :sangry:

I'm Romanian, hope you weren't referring that all Romanians are idiots . Secondly, I would be careful with that IP, it COULD be misleading. He may have used a proxy, or his browser may automatically run through a proxy.

It certainly wouldn't be a surprise to find out that someone with extensive enough knowledge to hack a server, would also know how to run a proxy, and create a fake e-mail address.

I hope you found the source of how that person gained access, or they'll just do it again in the future.

How do you know nothing else was changed? I would be quite concerned about the integrity of my server is someone were able to create such an account.

I mean, I liaise with my server admin whose are PSM and they said the server is safe.
