I bought the reseller package from Three Host. The R2 package.
the support has been plasant - but the server right now is not impressing me at all. It cannot handle a server load of 80+ users at once. As I write this, my main website is down due to the server load - and the support has disappeared.
I warned them of the traffic surge, i even tried to make the site preform better - they fooled with the mysql and therefore fooled up a lot of my installations - then the permisions on the server were fooled up and I have spent the past 2 days trying to get them to fix it - it never did get fixed.
if they would have fixed the permissions - i could have fixed a lot of stuff myself
if they would have left the mysql alone, i wouldnt have had issues in the first place.
basically, they made my site break by going from mysql 5 to 4 (heaven knows why) and then ruined some scripts that were installed with tables under 5. I tried to reinstall these, with file permissions glore.
So, now the stuff i had in place to prevent a server load are not working because well they were broken and i couldn't fix it. I have been screaming since lsat evening for this to be dealt with - it wasn't
Guess what - now the server is down and my site that makes money for me is down as well. Last time they called it a "server attack" i wonder what they will call it this time.
Three Host - at this point you need to impress me, as I am not too impressed at all at this point. I warned you this will happen.
