Need Better Hosting Solution for Website with PHP and Databases

I run http://www.londes.com, currently hosted at pow-web.com, with whom I have not been entirely thrilled with in the past.

I get a lot of complains about the site running slowly, and think that switching to a server that can run all the databases on it faster as well as the PHP would be a good move.

If you have a few minutes, I'd appreciate it if you took a look at the site and gave me any suggestions you have for improving it and its load time.

It seems to be quite fast right now - so perhaps a little difficult to suggest atm.

What sort of traffic does your site receive? Can you give us the specs of your current shared server?

powweb mysql is bit slow. As i understand they not implement mysql connection limit per user account, thus the server jam up badly.

they are upgrading to mysql 5 now, and this allow them to implement control to prevent this.

Does your code for the database automaticly close the connection when you you are done querying
