I have used lunarpages before and i am using bluehost for one of my high traffic site.

the only issue i had with lunarpages was if for some reason, you used a lot of resources/bandwidth, they would shut you down and wouldnt email/call you to let you know. (based on personal experience)

though i dont use lunarpages anymore, i would still recommend them.

but right now, blue host have the edge as i am pretty happy with their services and their support has been very good

BlueHost and Lunarpages are both good. As Praveen said, their features are both same same each other. But with Bluehost you can host unlimited website on one account. With 300GB space, you can host a lots of web site on bluehost. With lunarpages i think you can only host max 10 sites. Is it right?
So you already have your own choice, do you?

Out of interest, was that over your allocation, or are they overselling?

Although in any case not calling/emailing about it is very poor, the implications for the user are a little different - one they may be able to see it coming as they approach their limits, and the latter they should probably stay away from completely?

I will agree that both of these hosts are pretty decent.
I just had a look at BlueHost's custom cpanel and I was impressed.

And hello Praveen. Good to see you. I hope you are well.

Well Cpanel is the control panel which can be bought by any host by paying the price. www.cpanel.net (cpanel addons, skins make cpanel look different).

Now back to choosing from Lunarpage or Bluehost.., I would say both are equally good. Just check your requiremnt and then see which one is offering good value for money for yr requirement and go with them.

Both are very good. But in terms of customer support at Bluehost is superior.

Ohh lots of adverts. Hehe..

I've heard that BlueHost are oversellers and have slow servers (do a post on google) and that Lunarpages isn't much better.

Do you really need all that is provided?

I'd pick neither one! They oversell like crazy and their services show it. You'll get a lot of headaches just cuz you wanted 200gb of storage when you just need a few hundred megs.
