Hello, I'm new here and new to hosting etc.

Looking to set up a web page for myself.

Whats is the best way to start for a beginner ?

I know you can do things like yahoo or geocities etc... but then you have the adds etc..

Or you can by a domain, I guess,...

Your thoughts/advice would be appriciated.

Also, if you have macromedia dreamweaver or ms frontpage then it will make life alot easier for ya when it comes to coding HTML. Actually any WYSIWYG editor would suffice for HTML editing.

Although I think PHP is great I think it might be a bit much for someone to learn when they are just begining HTML.
